Meeko

The Meeko, ripple helix cuff earring features a single wrap of 18 gauge copper wire, bent back and forth in a ripple pattern which grows wider at the middle and is narrower at the ends. The left and right ripples are wrapped in aqua wire where they meet at the top, and all three ripples hold a Czech glass dagger bead on a handmade jump ring.

This earring was inspired by... Disney's "Pocahontas" film, although I didn't realize it when I was making it. My instinct to mix turquoise with copper brown, had to have been influenced by Pocahontas' iconic Disney dress and necklace.
